Welcome to Patchwork Bernese\/Seawind Farms\u00a0<\/p>\n

Some Big News<\/strong> that we are very grateful for and want to share with all of you. Since receiving Sydney from Alise Burbridge our friendship and partnership has grown. We have decide to breed Sydney in partnership with Alise under the Seawind Farms Kennel<\/strong> name.\u00a0 We believe that breeding for the preservation of the breed is very important and by partnering with Alise we are confident that we can make a greater impact together.\u00a0 \u00a0We are very excited about this partnership.\u00a0 Our story will always begin with Oakley, but as we evolve as breeders we our making changes that we are certain will help us to continue to be the best preservation breeders we can be.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Our story begins with Oakley our first Bernese Mountain Dog. Oakley came to live with us, Stephanie, Bill, Justin, Dylan in February 2013.<\/p>\n

We received Spellbound Sunny Day “Oakley” Bernergarde #90983<\/a> in 2013 from Scott and Dayna Merrow of Spellbound Bernese at\u00a0spellboundbernese.com<\/a>. Oakley traveled everywhere with us. \u00a0Her temperament, intelligence, and loyalty were only some of the qualities we loved about her.<\/p>\n

It was a ski trip to Vermont that would send us on a journey wanting to share and preserve this wonderful breed. Oakley is our hero. Click on these links to read and hear the story of how that happened: \u00a0newspaper article<\/a> and,\u00a0 for this Oakley received the first ever Hero Award from the BMDCNV<\/a>.\u00a0 We sadly lost our Hero in May 2020, we miss her everyday.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Almost 2yrs after getting Oakley we welcomed another puppy into our house.
Spellbound Love That Patchwork “Teagan” Bernergarde #112805<\/a>\u00a0 in June 2014 also from Spellbound<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Harper Oakley’s daughter joined our family in 2015.\u00a0 Bernergarde # 129523<\/a><\/p>\n

We also co-own Eros who is Oakley’s son he joined us in 2017. He lives with one of our wonderful puppy families and we get to visit him. Bernergarde #143047<\/a><\/p>\n

In 2019 we welcomed a New Girl Seawind Farms Promise to Patchwork “Sydney”.\u00a0 She joined our family in October 2019.\u00a0 She was Bred by Alise Burbridge, Seawind Farms.\u00a0 Bernergarde #159906<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n
